Shark’s Bay Day 3

We’ve now finished the shore-based section of our trip. Yesterday we dived twice on Jackson Reef. The variety and quantity of fish life was stunning. It’s amazing to think that this is the season with the lowest number of fish. Today we did two dives on Gordon Reef and a third on Thomas Reef. Gordon Reef has many old oil barrels, to look at as well as the usual reef life. Thomas Reef provided a very relaxing drift dive.
We’ve now boarded the liveaboard and will start the journey to Ras Mohammed during the night. The boat has exceeded everyone’s expectations. It’s very comfortable. We’re all very excited about the next three days which will feature night dives, the Thistlegorm and the Dunraven as well as the famous Shark and Yolanda.
