In the great tradition of UK sport, Clidive is run by a volunteer committee that changes regularly and is elected by its members at the AGM. This shares the work and allows more members to gain experience of running what is similar to a small not-for-profit business. The committee meets every six weeks and we encourage everyone to get involved in the running and shaping of the club.

Ben
Chairman
I learnt to dive in the Red Sea during 1997 and joined Clidive in 1998. My first UK dive was the Eddystone Lighthouse and loved it. I am now the club's Chairman and an Advanced Instructor. 15 years later, I still love diving at remote offshore lighthouses.

Mary
Diving Officer
I started diving in 1994 and joined Clidive the following year. I am an Advanced Diver and instructor. As the Diving Officer I oversee all diving operations within the club.

Edward
Club Secretary
“Clidive taught me to dive in 2010. I’m now completely addicted. I’ve already dived in France, Egypt (twice), New Zealand and last but not least, many fantastic locations in the UK.” Ed loves underwater photography and learning more about diving.

John
Training Officer
“I joined Clidive too long ago to remember and am responsible for overseeing and coordinating training within the club. I am also one of the club’s instructors and an advanced diver.” JD loves mucking around in boats, teaching and all sorts of diving.

Martin
Social Secretary
"I started diving in 2008 and joined Clidive shortly afterwards. I am a Dive Leader and an Open Water Instructor. As the Social Secretary I organise non-diving activities." Martin loves teaching people to dive and clown fish.

Stefano
Webmater
I joined Clidive in 2004 and am now one of the club’s instructors and an Advanced Diver. As Webmaster, I ensure the smooth running of our website and online presence.

Dick
Committee Member
“I started diving in 1991 and was a PADI Instructor for over 15 years before joining Clidive and crossing over to the BSAC. I am an active instructor within the club and assist various committee officers.” Dick loves Underwater Archaeology and wrecks.
