Brrrrrra Firth

The wind whipped up the Firth today, restricting our dive sites to those sheltered inside.

So, Da Uda Cave provided entertainment for a group of torched-up Clidivers. The routes taken by different dive pairs through the H shaped passageways resulted in a fairly coherent diagram sketched after the dive (inclusive of bearings and depths), which we will share shortly.

In the afternoon we dropped divers in on a variety of interesting looking gnarls in the cliffs along Burra Firth, and we got in to our mooring just as the wind calmed down.

For anyone interested, here is the recipe we followed yesterday for Cullen Skink – made with locally smoked haddock.
