Each year, we try to do a trip to dive some of the deeper wrecks out of Portland. Sometimes the weather plays ball. Sometimes it doesn’t. Last weekend, it did. Blazing sunshine and calm (enough) seas to head around Portland Bill and go exploring.

We dived 3 wrecks new to Clidive (the lovely Landrail (36m), the fabulous Frognor (36m) and the miniscule mini-submarine A3 in 38m).

And we did the Salsette, an enormous P&O liner 17 miles out from Castletown in 48m. Clidive haven’t been there for 10 years or so, so it was good to be back.

No wonder Brian looks pleased with himself, but we’re still gently fizzing now.
