Fog and wind

Ah, the August Bank Holiday. It all started off so well. 30 divers, 2 RIBs, bright sunny weather and a lovely barbeque. We started off diving the James Eagan Layne and Hilsea Point, along with the Glen Strathallen and Cawsand Bay. Then that happy combination of wind and fog rolled in. Not only was it rough, but you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face either. And don’t even get us started on the underwater visibility. But we still managed to dive the Rame Head Barge/Leen, the Elk, the Scylla, a new wreck of a barge (for us) near the Breakwater Fort and the always lovely Firestone Bay.
