Clidive in Marseille

It is a little different from Portland Harbour here. For starters, there is nowhere to moor up the boat overnight, so we have to take it out on the trailer each day. But there are compensations. Such as 17 degree water, 30m of visibility and lots of fish. And the dive centres have better graphic designers than boring old ‘Underwater Explorers’ or ‘In Deep’ that we have in England.

(For the observant boat handler, the correct launching technique on the rather shallow slipway is to drive the trailer back and then get several burly Clidivers to push the boat off the precipice at the end into deep water. Occasionally someone falls off the edge and gets rather wet.)

Vive la France!
